Using the chemical-free Swiss Water Process, over 99% of the caffeine is removed from the specialty beans, and then it’s up to us to roast them with care to preserve their complex spectrum of flavours and produce a sweet, medium-acidity, balanced cup. We know caffeine doesn’t work for everybody, but that’s no reason to be denied one of life’s pleasures: a delicious cup of coffee.
The current blend consists of two Direct Trade coffees from well-known, fifth generation coffee farmer, Chalo Fernandez. He and his family have an idyllic plot of land in the mountainous region of Huila, Colombia where they produce 100% specialty grade Arabica Castillo coffee through fully sustainable and progressively organic farming practices. In the cup you can expect notes of milk chocolate, caramel with a creamy mouthfeel.
