A clean and silky coffee from four producers near the mountainsides of the Datanlí-El Diablo Nature Reserve.
This coffee comes to us from four small producers in Datanlí: a small town in the municipality of Jinotega in the Northern Highlands of Nicaragua. The name ‘Datanlí’ is an indigenous term that means “where water falls,” referring to the mountains of the Datanlí-El Diablo Nature Reserve. The diverse ecosystem, impressive forests and water source originating atop of the mountains of one of the country’s richest biological heritages provide local farmers with pristine conditions to produce high quality specialty coffees.
This fully washed coffee has been fermented in cement tanks and dried on shaded raised beds, resulting in a beautifully clean and silky cup.
