The Kamwangi factory is situated in the Central Province of Kenya in Nyeri County. Here the water for processing cherries is sourced from the prestine Ragati River which arises from the melting snow runoff of Mount Kenya.
Ripe cherries are hand picked and sorted, then pulped and fermented between 24-36 hours depending on climate. They are then dried on raised beds for another 12-20 days.
The result is a washed coffee that has a classic Kenya profile that we truly enjoy: Bright citrus, wild berries and a creamy mouthfeel.Parameter Guides
