We are thrilled to introduce a new member to our Direct Trade partner community: La Lia led by brothers Luis Alberto and Oscar Adolfo Monge.

Located in the world-renowned Tarrazú growing region, we were introduced in the midst of the ‘22 harvest and immediately connected through our shared interest in superior quality and long-term relationships. Luis and Oscar are intently focussed on producing some of the best coffees in the world, and have placed as high as second in the Cup Of Excellence competition over the past several years.

Their coffees are a shining example of excellent honey processing and innovative wet mill techniques. With surgical precision, La Lia controls the level of mucilage left on each bean to dry, creating a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity.

La Lia wonderfully represents both Tarrazú terroir and processing prowess. An extremely flavorful introduction to a new friend!

Special thanks to Francisco Mena, producer at Sumava de Lourdes and owner of exporting organization, Exclusive Coffees, for facilitating the introduction to this exciting new relationship in Tarrazú.

We guarantee a fresh specialty delivery within seven days of the roast date.

GROUND COFFEE ORDERS:
We only offer a universal medium grind suitable for Auto Drip, French Press, Pourover and Aeropress. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate other grind requests, including espresso.
