'HOLIDAY' COFFEE COCKTAIL

 

A warming infusion that takes your morning brew to the evening festivities

SHOP COFFEE

 

YOU WILL NEED: 
  • 2oz brewed Holiday Seasonal Blend 
  • 1oz red wine (consider a fruity, full-bodied Merlot, Zinfandel or Shiraz)
  • 1oz rum
  • 0.5oz maple syrup
  • 2 inch ice cubes
  • 1 whole star anise
  • Ground cloves
  • Cocktail glass
  • Cocktail shaker
  • Spoon
  • Strainer

 

BREW PARAMETERS: 

DRY DOSE: 16g Coffee

WET DOSE208g water

RATIO: 1:13

WATER: 200f (30s off boil)

GRINDDependent on brew method. Slightly finer than usual.

METHOD: 

1. Brew Holiday Blend (follow brew parameters and click here for instructions).

2.  In a shaker, add red wine, rum, maple syrup, brewed coffee and ice cubes. Shake for 20s. 

3. Strain into chilled glass.

4. Garnish with star anise and a pinch of ground clove.
