Finca Los Altiplanos is situated in the Datanlí El Diablo Nature Reserve, one of the richest biological heritages in Nicaragua. While the farm's history dates back to the late-30s, owner Ricardo Cuadra Fajardo has grown specialty coffee varietals here since 2006 and earned Cup of Excellence status in 2021. “From the first moment I saw these lands, I found a climate, a landscape and an unequaled ecology,” says Fajardo.

Its natural growing conditions and microclimates have made Nicaragua home to many unique and unforgettable coffees, so having Los Altiplanos return to our lineup was a no-brainer. With this lot, we’re reminded of this farm and region’s unique qualities: bright citrus acidity, sweet cherry aromas and flavour, and a silky finish.

Just a beautifully executed and well-balanced cup from a farm we’ve grown very fond of.

We only offer a universal medium grind suitable for Auto Drip, French Press, Pourover and Aeropress. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate other grind requests, including espresso.
