The Navarro family has been producing coffee in the famous growing region of Tarrazú for nine years. In that short time they've earned a Cup of Excellence (2014) and turned many heads in Costa Rica with their sustainable and ethical production practices. With an approach that is similar to winemakers, it is no surprise that coffee from Monte Copey has earned such high regard and has been used by world champion baristas in competitions.
Monte Copey is a delicious and elegant yellow honey process with delicate acidity not unlike great Ethiopian coffees. In the cup look for a creamy mouth feel with flavours of golden raisin and peach.
