This role of Account Manager will focus on Business Development and Consulting. You will work with new leads to get their coffee programs launched. As the key contact at Pilot Coffee Roasters for new business, this person will be responsible sharing our values, providing exceptional customer service, and building the strong relationships that wholesale partners at Pilot Coffee Roasters have been accustomed to, while ensuring strong loyalty and customer success.


  • Develop new leads by providing potential leads appropriate marketing material, equipment reseller offering and training/technical support program
  • Maintaining accurate timelines bringing accounts to market, this includes equipment ordering, consultation on design and coffee education ie. training
  • Set up new wholesale accounts and capture relevant data using Pilot Coffee Roasters’ appropriate software systems
  • Communicate Pilot Coffee Roasters' coffee offerings, ordering process, shipping policies and the logistics role to new wholesale partners
  • Providing strong handover as accounts come to market to Pilot Coffee Roasters' appropriate account managers and coffee educators
  • Work with the Head of Account Management to bring to market new ideas on how to service and grow Wholesale Partners
  • Provide customer support with equipment installation and equipment calibration as accounts come to market
  • Assist and represent Pilot at special events and being present at coffee industry events


  • 5 years previous experience working in the specialty coffee industry
  • 2-3 years of coffee consulting experience
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service background
  • Previous technical experience with specialty coffee equipment
  • Driver’s license
