We are bursting with excitement to bring Prince Edward County the Pilot Coffee Roasters experience. Join our new team as we venture off to new realms in Wellington, Ontario. We are looking for energetic and positive coffee lovers who have a strong desire to learn about specialty coffee and provide an exceptional experience to our new customers.
Pilot Coffee Roasters offers an extensive Barista training program, although experience in specialty coffee is preferred for this role.
These are full-time seasonal positions and you must be available weekdays and weekends. This location will be open from May–September.

– SUPERVISOR –
We are currently looking for a supervisor at Te Aro. In this role, you would be responsible for the daily supervision of staff to ensure that Pilot’s quality and customer service standards are constantly being met. You must notice the small details and be able to think of big picture ideas to help contribute to the success of one of our busiest retail locations. You must be confident leading a big team, and effectively be able to give feedback, delegate and motivate our staff. In this role some of your key responsibilities would be:> Keeping the cafe clean, organized & fully stocked by ensuring staff are following daily & weekly checklists.
> Enforce Pilot’s policies & procedures, especially with regards to cash handling, front-of-house expectations & lateness.
> Enforce Pilot’s quality standards by upholding our training practices, addressing any quality issues and ensuring staff are doing the same.
> Assist with training and employee development.
> Inventory, ordering and receiving products, while minimizing waste and overhead.
> Following up with any supplier, maintenance or inventory issues promptly.
> Updating social media 2-3 times per week.
> Taking on self-driven special projects to improve the business.
> Weekly reporting.
> Deal with challenging situations in a calm, professional manner.
> Assist retail manager in keeping POS up to date, and educating staff on new products being released.
> Working with Retail Manager to address any staff, quality or customer service related issues.
> Ensure staff are keeping a good efficient work ethic while maintaining high team morale.
You must be an experienced barista and be available to work full time hours (weekends and weekdays).
