San Joaquin is a natural Bourbon from a farm that’s been with the Pacas family for more than 100 years. It’s a place that taught generations of family members how to work the land, respect the environment, and love the coffee it produces.
Located in one of the most important coffee regions in El Salvador, San Joaquin is adoringly nicknamed “the farm of the morning sun” by the community. San Joaquin only receives natural light before noon which creates exceptional slow growth conditions to ripen cherries and develop complex flavour. Coffee plants are surrounded by a natural cypress forest which adds to the idyllic conditions – not only for coffee plants, but for many endangered mammals, birds and reptiles.
